(Oral) While issuing notice of motion on 26.08.2016 in CWP No.17558 of 2016, a direction was issued to respondent-School to issue necessary instructions so that the petitioner could participate in the Punjab School Education Board (Sports), District Level Tournament of Pistol Shooting, which was to be held from 27.08.2016. In response to said direction, the petitioner was allowed to participate but subsequently, the said writ petition was dismissed being rendered infructuous vide order dated 26.10.2016. Learned counsel for respondent No.1 submits that interim direction was complied with and now nothing survives in the present petition as the main writ petition has been rendered infructuous.
