The petitioners seek issuance of directions to the official respondents to initiate proper investigation so as to add the names of respondents No.5 and 6 in FIR No.250, dated 6.11.2023 registered at Police Station Jamalpur, District Ludhiana, under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code. 2.

At this stage, Mr. C.L. Pawar, Addl. A.G., Punjab, upon whom an advance copy of petition had already been served, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State.

Learned State counsel, upon instructions from ASI Swarn Chand, has informed that the investigaton in respect of aforesaid FIR already stands concluded and challan stands presented against Dadwal Kumar, who somehow was the one, who had lodged the FIR, as specific evidence as regards his involvement was found. In view of the aforestated position particularly the fact that challan already stands presented, this Court does not find any ground for issuance of any direction. However, it shall be open to the petitioners to move an appropriate application before the Trial Court at appropriate stage for arraying any additional accused, if there is any evidence to support such assertion. 6.
