The only prayer in the present petition is for deciding the application made by the petitioner to the jail authorities for grant of parole for repair of his house and for agricultural purposes. Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the said application was sent vide Diary Despatch No.16329211021 dated 30.11.2021, however, till date the same is pending and no decision has been taken on the same.

On the asking of the Court, Ms. Safia Gupta, AAG Haryana has joined the session through video conferencing and accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. Learned State counsel submits that the application submitted by the petitioner seeking parole would be decided within a period of two weeks from today.
