Mr.Anant Kataria,DAG Punjab for respondent Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Vide order dated 14.5.2015, this Court in CWP 9588/2015 had directed the respondent to consider and decide the legal notice dated 15.11.2014 served by the petitioner regarding construction of Labour Shed at Sri Muktsar Sahib, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of order dated 14.5.2015. Alleging non-compliance of the said order this contempt petition was filed.

Vide order dated 3.9.2015, notice of motion was issued. Today none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. By way of CM 1709-CII/2017 reply by way of affidaviat of Jaskiran Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Shri Muktsar Sahib has been filed wherein it is stated that in compliance of order of this Court, legal notice dated 15.11.2014 served upon the respondent by the petitioner has been considered and decided by the present Deputy Commissioner vide order dated 11.1.2017(R-1/1), declining the request made in the said legal notice in view of guidelines issued by Government of India vide order dated Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2017.01.27 17:37 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP 2245/2015(O&M) 106+216 7.6.2016. It is thus submitted that directions of this Court stand complied with.

The application is allowed. Reply taken on record. In view of the contents of the reply indicating due compliance of the directions of this Court, no further action is warranted in the present contempt petition.
