(Oral) This petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to mention the name of the petitioner in the list of selected candidates and to join the petitioner for the post of Post Graduate Teachers in the subject of Political Science for Rest of Haryana Cadre as per advertisement no.32/2023 dated 24.06.2023, Annexure P-7. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a representation to respondent no.2/Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission.

Learned counsel for the Commission, appearing on advance notice, submits that in case any such representation is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be considered and decided expeditiously. 4.

In view thereof, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before respondent No.2 within a period of one week from today. In case any such representation is filed, the same shall decided by respondent No.2/ Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receiving the representation.
