RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of direction to respondent No.3 to decide the representation dated 27.05.2022, Annexure P-2, in a time-bound manner. It is also prayed to direct the official respondents to maintain status quo regarding the demised land during pendency of the writ petition. It is also prayed to direct respondent No.3 to transfer the proprietary right of the government property as detailed in the petition situated in the village Kuranwala, Tehsil Dera Bassi, District SAS Nagar (Mohali) to the petitioner as per the provisions of the Punjab (Welfare and Settlement of Landless, Marginal and Small Occupant Farmers) Allotment of State Government Land Act, 2020. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed the representation dated 27.05.2022, Annexure P-2, but the same has not been decided till date.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and going through the facts of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Sub-Divisional Commissioner-cum-Allotment Commissioner, Tehsil Dera Bassi, District SAS Nagar (Mohali), to look into the representation, dated 27.05.2022, Annexure P-2, and decide the same expeditiously preferably within three months from today in accordance with law.
