NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) CM-17008-CII-2017 Application for exemption is allowed as prayed for. COCP-2231-2017 The present contempt petition is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 20.03.2017 vide which a direction was issued to decide the complaint filed by the petitioners.

Short reply by way of affidavit of Harcharan Singh Bhullar, Sr.Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar filed by learned State counsel is taken on record. As per the said reply, the allegations were found to be true and FIR has been registered on 23.05.2017. It is further stated that challan too has been filed.

In view of the same, the contempt petition is dismissed. Rule issued against the respondents stand discharged. April 11, 2019 ( NIRMALJIT KAUR ) meenuss JUDGE 1.
