Notice of motion.
On the asking of court, Mr. Aditya Sharda, AAG Punjab, who is present in court accepts notice.
Petitioner alleges violation of order dated 18.04.2017 passed by writ court, operative part thereof reads as under:- "The short prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage is that the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 may be directed to decide his representation dated 11.06.2016 (Annexure P-11) within a time bound manner.
In these circumstances, without issuing notice to the respondents, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 11.06.2016 (Annexure P-11) within one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order." Grievance of the petitioner is that despite clear direction given in the aforesaid order, same has not been complied with. According to him, no appeal has been preferred by the respondents impugning the aforesaid Ajay Kumar 2017.08.17 16:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document order.
COCP No. 2254 of 2017 Petition is disposed of with the direction that another opportunity is granted to the respondents to purge the contempt. In case needful is not done within two week's from today, petitioner shall be at liberty to seek revival of the petition. In such eventuality, this court shall consider imposition of exemplary costs.
