(ORAL) By way of the instant petition, the petitioner seeks the relief of issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release his salary for the period from 01.01.2020 to 30.04.2020 @ Rs.35,400/- while claiming that he was serving with the respondentdepartment as VLDA, on contract basis, w.e.f. 23.10.2015 till he resigned from the job on 01.05.2020 after being appointed as VLDA on the regular post.

Mr. Amit Aggarwal, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, has joined the proceedings in pursuance of the copy of this petition having been sent to the respondents-State in advance and at the asking of the Court, he accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer to the issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to consider and deal with the legal notice dated 12.08.2020 (Annexure P-6) as issued on behalf of the petitioner to them, in a time bound manner.

Learned State counsel has no objection for the same. Keeping in view the afore-mentioned limited prayer of learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting upon the merits of the matter in hand, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to look into the said legal notice of the petitioner dated 12.08.2020 (Annexure P-6) and to decide/deal with the same in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
