(ORAL) Learned counsel for the University states that sanction has now been received from the Government and the pay fixation has been done on 10.04.2019 and now the amount due to the petitioners shall be paid and deposited in their accounts within four weeks from today. In view of the above statement, the present contempt petition is dismissed.
Rule issued against the respondents stands discharged. However, in case the said amount due to the petitioner is not deposited within four weeks from today, the petitioners will be at liberty to revive the contempt petition and in case they are forced to revive the same, respondent-University shall be liable to pay heavy penalty which would be MEENU 2019.04.12 14:12 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
