(Oral) The present contempt petition was filed for non-compliance of the order dated 24.1.2018 passed by this Court, in which direction was issued to decide the representation of the petitioners within three months. Reply to the contempt petition by way of affidavit of Sarvjit Singh, Principal Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Water Resources, Punjab, dated 21.11.2018 has been filed in Court today. Copy furnished to the counsel for the petitioners. As per reply, the order has been complied with. The case of the petitioners was considered and rejected vide order dated 4.9.2018 (Annexure R-1).
