CM-6935-CWP-2026 This is the application for placing on record order dated 17.03.2026 as Annexure RA-1 and letter dated 02.04.2026 as Annexure RA-2). Heard.

For the reasons stated in the application, same is allowed. Annexures RA-1and RA-2 are taken on record subject to all just exceptions. Main case 1.

In the present petition, the challenge is to order dated 02.08.2023 (Annexure P-23) passed by Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench Chandigarh (for short - the 'Tribunal') by which order dated 22.10.2022 dismissing the petitioner from service on the ground of desertion was upheld by the Tribunal. 2.

Leaned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of KUMARI SAPNA 2026.05.15 10.37 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-793-2024 (O&M) the present writ petition, the respondents have reconsidered and converted the dismissal from service into discharge from service vide order dated 17.03.2026 and directions have already been issued to grant the consequential benefits. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the consequential benefits in terms of the order dated 17.03.2026 will be released in favour of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks of the receipt of the copy of certified copy of this order.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned counsel for the respondents, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 5.
