Aggrieved against the judgment and decree of divorce passed by Family Court Panchkula-petitioner wife filed FAO M-378 of 2014 wherein notice was issued to respondent. Later on the matter was referred to Mediation and Conciliation Center of this Court. In the instant contempt it is alleged by petitioner that despite pendency of aforesaid FAO M-378/2014 petitioner solemnized marriage on 23.6.2015 and on petitioner's objecting to the same she was given beatings regarding which she lodged an FIR(P-2). Notice of motion was issued.

Respondent-ex husband moved CM 2004-CII/2017 to place on record compromise deed dated 12.12.2015(A-1) and order dated 12.12.2015(A-2) passed by Lok Adalat with further prayer to drop the contempt proceedings in view of the said compromise arrived at between the parties. COCP 2448/2015 As per terms and conditions of compromise deed dated 12.12.2015(A-1) petitioner wife has undertaken to withdraw all cases filed by her arising out of their matrimonial disputes, whereas respondent has agreed to transfer H.No.449,Sector 19,Panchkula in favour of petitioner and her son Vikas Verma. It is further agreed by the respondent in the said compromise that he will pay maintenance to their son Vikas Verma @ Rs.4500/- per month. It is further stated therein that from 12.12.2015 onwards both sides will have no relationship and will not interfere in the life of each other. In terms of the said compromise arrived at between the parties, an award (A-2) was passed by the Lok Adalat in the National Lok Adalat,held on 12.12.2015.

At the time of hearing today respondent states that he shall abide by the terms and conditions arrived at vide compromise deed dated 12.12.2015(A-1) and will continue to pay maintenance to their son Vikas Verma @ Rs.4500/- per month.

In view of the compromise(A-1)arrived at between the parties and award(A-2) dated 12.12.2015 passed by the Lok Adalat, the instant contempt petition has become infructuous. Disposed of accordingly.
