**** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Reply by way of affidavit of Jatinder Singh Aulakh, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, has been filed in court today. Same is taken on record.

Learned State counsel submits that as directed by this court in CRM-M-24475-2016, matter was examined by Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana. A speaking order dated 27.08.2016, Annexure R-1 has been passed. According to him, the matter was looked into but allegation levelled by the petitioner could not be sustained. Thus, a cancellation report has been prepared and same shall be filed before the competent court within one month.

In view of the above, present petition has been rendered infructuous and is dismissed as such.
