NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) The contempt petition is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 27.07.2016. In compliance of the said order, the respondent passed a speaking order dated 28.03.2017. However, dis-satisfied with the same, this Court vide order dated 16.02.2018 directed the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana to file his affidavit regarding parameters for conversion of the use of a premises from residence to commercial in a residential sector, as also the details of such premises denied or granted within the entire area of the Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana within last five years.

In pursuance to the said order, status report was filed by way of an affidavit of the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana, dated MEENU 2019.02.06 16:38 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

In view of the above facts, this Court cannot go beyond the order dated 27.07.2016 passed in the writ petition. The direction was only to pass a speaking order, which has already been passed. In view of the same, the contempt petition is dismissed. The rule issued against the respondent(s) stands discharged. However, in case the petitioner is aggrieved by the passing of the said speaking order or with the information provided vide affidavit dated 11/16.07.2018, he is at liberty to impugn the same in accordance with law.
