(Oral) In light of the status report filed by the learned State counsel, there is no threat perception to the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members and as regards the civil dispute; the parties have already approached the Court of competent jurisdiction. Therefore, nothing survives in the present petition and the same stands dismissed.

However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent authority, in case, any threat perception arises but with a cogent proof of the same, the said representation shall be looked into in accordance with law.
