Advocate General, Haryana. ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of parole on the ground that the marriage of his sister's son Parveen is to be solemnized on 18-19th January 2020.
Pursuant to issuance of notice of motion on 13.1.2020, a short reply by way of affidavit of Shri Amit Kumar, Superintendent of Jail, District Jail, Sirsa has been filed wherein it has been stated that the factum of the marriage of the petitioner's nephew, which is scheduled for 18-19th January 2020 has been verified. It is also stated therein that there is no objection of the locals for the petitioner attending the said marriage. Para 4 of the aforesaid reply reads as follows :- "That the facts regarding marriage of Parveen Kumar son of Smt. Krishna Devi wife of Sh. Kidara Singh Saini real bhanja (sister's son) of the petitioners were got verified from the S.H.O., Police Station, Civil Line Sirsa. As per verification report of S.H.O., Police Station, Civil Line KAMAL KUMAR 2020.01.16 12:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRWP-272-2020 Sirsa received through e-mail, the marriage of Parveen Kumar son of Krishana Devi wife of Kidara Singh resident of Dulheri P.S. Tosham, District Bhiwani is to be held on 18/19.01.2020 in village Dulheri District Bhiwani. There is no objection to the local people inviting petitioner/convict in the marriage."
The said reply is also accompanied by a report of SHO (Annexure R-2).
However, in para 3 of the said reply, it has been stated therein that the petitioner has not approached the office by way of filing any application seeking parole on account of marriage of his nephew. In view of the aforestated position, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the authorities concerned that in case any such application seeking grant of parole is filed by the petitioner today, the same be disposed of expeditiously, preferably by tomorrow. A copy of this order be furnished to learned counsel for the petitioner as well as State counsel under the signatures of Bench Secretary of this Court.
