The present petition has been filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.0135 dated 08.10.2022 under Sections 498-A and 406 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Nangal District Rupnagar.

On 09.01.2023 the following order was passed : "The petitioner has filed petition under Sections 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.135 dated 08.10.2022 under Sections 498-A and 406 IPC registered at Police Station Nangal, Rupnagar. Notice of motion.

On the asking of this Court, Mr. Kunwarbir Singh, Asstt. AG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the State. Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that JITENDER KUMAR 2023.12.22 10:04 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment.

CRM-M No.757 of 2023 2023:PHHC:165075 the petitioner is old lady (mother-in-law). The allegations against her are general in nature. She is ready to join the investigation.

Adjourned to 06.02.2023.

The arrest of the petitioner is stayed subject to the joining of investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has since joined the investigation and fully cooperated. 4.

Learned counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Mehar Singh has stated that the petitioner has since joined investigation and fully cooperated and that she is no longer required for further custodial interrogation as of now.

In view of the above, the order dated 09.01.2023 is made absolute. The petitioner shall, however, join investigation as and when called. The petitioner shall also abide by all the terms and conditions as specified under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. 6.

Disposed off accordingly. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
