This petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to step-up the pay of the petitioner at par to his juniors and release all the consequential benefits accrued in his favour.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that at this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case his legal notice dated 8.9.2023, Annexure P-9, is considered by the respondents in a specified period. 3.
