(Oral) Learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the an amount of Rs.1,70,000/- i.e. Rs.1,27,000/- by way of demand draft dated 27.03.2017 and Rs.43,000/- in cash, has been handed over to the counsel for the petitioner today in lieu of the cheque which was dishonoured. According to him, settlement arrived at before the Lok Adalat has, thus, been satisfied. In view of the above, this petition is rendered infructuous and is dismissed as such.
