(ORAL) In the instant criminal writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to decide representation dated 27.06.2019 (Annexure P-1, Colly) and to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioners, at the hands of private respondents Nos. 4 to 11. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that purpose of instant petition would be achieved, if, respondent No. 2-Superintendent of Police Kaithal, is directed to look into the matter and do the needful, if required.
