Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Daljit Singh, who is present in court, submits that order passed in CWP No. 8052 of 2016 has been complied with. An inquiry officer of the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Investigation, Amritsar has been entrusted with the inquiry into the matter.

In view of statement made by learned State counsel, no cause of action survives in this petition. Same is hereby dismissed. Rule is discharged.
