Mr. A.S. Manaise, Advocate, for respondents No.6 to 8. ***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner alleges violation of order dated 22.04.2016 passed by the writ court. Operative part thereof reads as under:- "On the premises, the petitioners seek a direction for eviction of the unauthorized occupants and suitable action possibility of political rivalry between the Panches and Sarpanch also cannot be ruled out. Be that at it may, having regard to the allegations of encroachment over the Gram Panchayat land, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Deputy commissioner, Fazilka and the DDPO, Fazilka to hold a fact finding enquiry and take necessary remedial action against the encroachers, if any, in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order."

On the last date of hearing, when the case came up for hearing before the co-ordinate bench, direction was issued to the police authorities to provide adequate help for restoring the possession to the Gram Panchayat. Learned State counsel submits that needful was done thereafter. Possession has been restored to the rightful owners. Mr. Manaise makes a statement on the similar lines on behalf of respondent No.6 to 8.

In view of the above, no cause of action survives in this petition. Same is hereby disposed of.
