Petitioner-Kanta Rani moved an application dated 1.3.2015 before Administrator, New Mandi Township,Punjab (respondent 2 herein) for change of mutation of SCF Plot No.16,New Mandi Township Khanauri Mandi,Distt.Sangrur in her name to the extent of 1⁄2 share. In response she received a letter dated 6.7.2015 wherein allegedly certain unnecessary conditions were imposed for such change.

Petitioner approached this Court by way of CWP 17762/2015 challenging the said conditions imposed in letter dated 6.7.2015. During the course of hearing respondents withdrew communication dated 6.7.2015 issued to the petitioner. COCP 2602/2016 writ petition was disposed of as having become infructuous with the direction to respondents to take follow up action like entering of mutation etc., within a period of three months. Alleging non-compliance of order dated 19.1.2016 instant contempt has been filed.

Notice of motion was issued.

At the time of hearing learned State counsel submits that the instant contempt has become infructuous as needful has been done in terms of order dated 19.1.2016. The learned counsel for the petitioner concedes that needful having been done no further action is warranted in the present contempt petition.

Dismissed as infructuous.
