(ORAL) The instant writ petition has been filed seeking correction of the date of birth of the petitioner, which is reflected as 07.08.1964 whereas it should be corrected and read as 08.08.1967. Faced with the question whether the writ petition would be maintainable or the petitioner would have to file a civil suit to establish the correct date of birth, counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the instant petition and avail appropriate remedy in accordance with law. Ordered accordingly.
