1. Learned State counsel has already filed reply by way of affidavit of Sh. Veer Singh, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City Karnal, wherein it has been deposed that investigation pertaining to FIR No.269, dated 11.11.2023 registered at Police Station Nigdhu, Karnal, under Sections 147, 148, 307, 323 and 506 of Indian Penal Code already stands concluded in which four accused already stand arrested and challan has been presented. Learned State counsel submitted that under these circumstances, there is no occasion for transfer of any investigation as the requisite investigation already stands conducted. It has further deposed therein that adequate security was provided to petitioners No.2 and 3 i.e. Prashant and Jyoti respectively. Learned State counsel, upon instructions from SI Satyawan Singh, has also informed that two gunmen have already been provided for the security of the petitioners. 2. In view of the aforesaid position, the apprehension of the petitioners as regards threat to their lives and liberty also stands addressed. Consequently, the instant petition is rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such.

3. However, it is made clear that in case the petitioners ever apprehend any threat to their lives and liberty at a subsequent stage, it shall be open to them to approach this Court again.
