This petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to take action on the representation dated 13.3.2023, Annexure P-4, by granting promotion to the petitioner to the post of Principal at par with similarly situated persons, who already stand promoted vide order dated 26.4.2023, Annexure P-7, while correcting the seniority list.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before the respondents. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case the respondents are directed to decide his pending representation, dated 13.3.2023, Annexure P-4, in a specified period.

Ms. Tanushree Gupta, DAG, Haryana, appearing on advance notice, submits that the pending representation shall be decided by the respondents expeditiously.

CWP No.301 of 2024 -2- 2024:PHHC:001668 petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent/Principal Secretary-cum-Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Haryana, Education Department, to consider and decide the pending representation dated 13.3.2023, by passing a speaking order thereupon in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order.
