The injured/claimant has filed the present appeal for enhancement of compensation. An amount of 2,74,828/- had been awarded ₹ along with interest to the appellant on account of injuries suffered by him. The only issue that arises in the present appeal is as to whether the appellant is entitled to enhancement of the said compensation or not, as the other aspects have not been disputed before this Court. 2.

During the course of arguments, a very fair stand has been taken by the counsel for the appellant as well as the counsel for respondent No.3 and it has been jointly submitted that the appellant would be granted an additional compensation of 4 lakh along with interest at the rate of 6% per ₹ annum from the date of filing of the case till the date of payment. It is submitted that the payment would be made within a period of six weeks. 3.

FAO No.1237 of 2020 fair stand taken by the counsel for the appellant and the counsel for respondent No.3 as well as on account of the consensus, the present appeal is partly allowed and the award dated 07.11.2019 is modified and the present appellant is held entitled to an additional compensation of 4 lakh along ₹ with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of filing of the claim petition till the date of payment.
