Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Petitioner, who claims to be President of The Shaheed Udham Singh Kamboj Cooperative Transport Society Limited,Moonak filed CWP 10294/2010 seeking direction to official respondents to take action against Presidents and members of rival truck union-Truck Operators Union,Moonak, who were allegedly creating unnecessary obstruction in the lawful business activities of the petitioner's Society. The said writ petition came up for hearing on 12.7.2010(P-1) on which date interim directions were issued to official respondents to ensure unhindered business activities by petitioner's society and registration of an FIR in case the rival Society created any obstruction in the smooth functioning of petitioner's society. The said writ petition was finally disposed of vide order dated 8.2.2011(P2) by making absolute the interim order dated 12.7.2010. Upon notice, status report by way of affidavit dated 22.4.2014 of SSP,Sangrur was filed stating therein after passing of the aforesaid two orders by this Court, on the complaints made by petitioner FIR No.7 dated 18.1.2014 under Sections 341,506,427,148,149 IPC,PS Moonak and FIR No.9 dated 20.1.2014 under Sections 307,452,323,341,506,148,149 IPC,PS Moonak were registered against the Presidents and other members of the rival truck union. It is further stated that on the request of petitioner he was provided security on 21.3.2014 for depositing tender in the office of Deputy Commissioner,Sangrur. It is further undertaken therein that in future also, adequate security will be provided to the petitioner as and when required as also registration of case in case of obstruction in his work by the rival group.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties and going through the status report aforesaid, in my considered opinion, substantial compliance of orders P-1 and P-2 passed by this Court, has been made and no further action is warranted.

Rule is discharged.
