Prayer in the present writ petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to take the possession of the petitioners' land situated in Village Harsaru, District Gurugram without following the process as laid down in the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

Admittedly, the possession in the present case has been taken and handed over to Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran vide Rapat No.399 dated 23.12.2016. As per the reply filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 4, the entire compensation stands deposited and the amount of ₹60,83,95,839/- was available for disbursement with the Land Acquisition Collector and the amount of ₹6,89,66,737/- qua the petitioners was available for disbursement YOGESH SHARMA 2026.03.20 10:42 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

In view thereof, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous and the same is disposed off as such. The petitioners would always be at liberty to file a requisite application/execution for release of the compensation amount.
