[1] Due to COVID-19 situation, the Court is convened through video conference.
[2] This petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is filed seeking regular bail in FIR No. 147, dated 9th June, 2021 under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Sadar Samana, District Patiala. [3] Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for some time and realizing that earlier bail petition was got dismissed as withdrawn on 7th December, 2021 and thereafter, present petition was drafted on 6th January, 2022 and there is no change in circumstances as petitioner is not at parity with Paramjit Singh (co-accused), seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to revive the prayer at a later stage.
