*** Daya Chaudhary, J. (Oral) Earlier the petitioner approached this Court by way of filing CWP No.10128 of 2016, which was disposed of vide order dated 20.05.2016 with a direction to respondent No.2-Director, Development and Panchayats Department, Haryana to take decision on the application dated 07.04.2016, annexed as Annexure P-8 with the writ petition, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. When order dated 20.05.2016 was not complied with, the petitioner approached this Court by way of filing the present contempt petition wherein notice of motion was issued on 24.10.2016. In pursuance of notice of motion, short reply by way of an affidavit of Director, Development and Panchayats Department, Haryana has been filed in the Court and the same is taken on record.

It has been mentioned in the reply/affidavit that the application of the petitioner was considered and the same was forwarded to Deputy Commissioner, Panchkula vide order dated 15.06.2016 to conduct the Neetu Rani 2017.04.

COCP No.2685 of 2016 inquiry. The Deputy Commissioner, Panchkula has forwarded his report to the office of the Director, Development and Panchayats Department, Haryana but the same was not put up before the Director upto 28.12.2016. Thereafter, an inquiry has been ordered on 29.12.2016 by the respondent against the delinquent officials as there was delay and show cause notices were also issued to them. The supplementary report was submitted by the Deputy Commissioner, Panchkula and thereafter, matter was examined in the light of reports dated 21.10.2016 and 30.12.2016. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the compliance of the order has been made and a detailed order has been passed on 04.01.2017, which is annexed as Annexure R-1 with the reply and nothing remains in the present contempt petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter is pending before Assistant Collector Ist Grade, Panchkula for the last one year whereas it was to be decided within a period of six months. Keeping in view the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the Assistant Collector Ist Grade, Panchkula is directed to make all efforts to decide the case pending before him preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Disposed of accordingly.
