**** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Learned State counsel on instructions from Rajesh Kumar Gulati, DFO, Amritsar, submits that case of the petitioners before this court, has been forwarded to the Accountant General Officer in October 2017. Thus, all steps have been taken to comply with the order passed by the writ court. In view of statement made by learned counsel for the State, present petition is hereby disposed of. It would be ensured that petitioners are paid the necessary benefits within two months from today. In case, fresh cause of action arises to the petitioners to invoke the contempt jurisdiction of this court, apart from proceedings under the Act, this court shall impose punitive costs which shall be deducted from the salary of the officers responsible for the delay/noncompliance.
