Learned counsel for the respondents seeks to place on record short affidavit of G.S. Dhillon, Manager Establishment, Punjab State Warehousing Corporation, Sector 17-B Chandigarh. Para 3 thereof reads as under:- "3.

That the entire matter was considered by the Managing Director of the Corporation and taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner was convicted under Sections 406, 409, 420, 120-B IPC and Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 vide judgment dated 14.12.2012, a show cause notice was issued to the petitioner with regard to withholding of pensionary benefits from the date of conviction. After considering the reply and giving personal hearing to Sh. Rajinder Singh, vide order dated 31.10.2017, the pensionary benefits have been ordered to be withheld in full from the date of conviction and his name has been stuck off from the list of pensioners of PSWC. A copy of this order is attached herewith as Annexure R-1. So far as the period from the date of retirement till the date of conviction is concerned, the retiral Ajay Kumar 2018.05.22 03:02 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

COCP No. 2719 of 2016 benefits for the said period amounting to Rs. 5,11,865/- have been paid to Sh. Rajinder Singh."
