(ORAL) The contempt is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 02.08.2017 vide which a direction was issued to respondent No.5 to consider the legal notice and take necessary action in accordance with law. Reply has been filed. As per the reply, the matter has been decided by way of passing a speaking order and it has been mentioned in para 5 of the speaking order that the matter regarding equation of pay with that of his junior will be decided after finalization of seniority as a committee under the Chairmanship of IGP Hqrs has been constituted and the report of the Committee is still awaited.

In view of the above, the contempt petition is disposed of with a direction to the said Committee to decide the same expeditiously and MEENU 2019.01.10 11:10 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh preferably within two months from today. After receiving the report of the

COCP-27-2018 (O&M) -2Committee, the respondents shall take a final decision within a period of one month thereafter.
