(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his father was driven to commit suicide on 19.1.2018 and in respect of which the petitioner lodged FIR No. 6, dated 19.1.2018, Police Station GRP Patiala, District Government Railway Police, under Section 306 IPC. It has been submitted that although a period of more than 3 years has elapsed but the police has not effectively investigated the matter till date. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Director General of Police (respondent No.2) and Assistant Inspector General (respondent No.3) to ensure that the matter MOHAN SINGH 2021.01.14 18:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
