issued to the petitioner by the Government of India, Ministry of External Affairs, Regional Passport Office, Jalandhar; thereby seeking certain clarifications from the petitioner. Same is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. A copy thereof is also supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner, in Court today itself.

2.1 Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case the petitioner (minor) through his mother approaches the Regional Passport Office, Jalandhar with the required information and provides the necessary clarifications then the application for issuance of passport of the petitioner would be processed in accordance with law.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, keeping in view the aforesaid stand taken by learned counsel for the respondents, submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition at this stage with liberty to approach the Regional Passport Office, Jalandhar. 4.

Ordered accordingly.

However, in case of non-redressal of any of the grievances of petitioner, he shall be at liberty to seek revival of this writ petition. 6.
