Notice of motion.
On the asking of court, Mr. Harsimran Singh Sethi, Addl. A.G. Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. Petitioner alleges violation of order dated 11.01.2017. Operative part thereof reads as under:- "I have heard learned counsel for the parties and in view of the fact that a decision has been taken to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground subject to his fulfilling all eligibility conditions, the instant petition is allowed, with direction to respondents to consider the case of the petitioner in light of the letter dated 23.12.2016 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the receipt of a certified copy of this order." Learned State counsel at the outset submits that in case aforesaid order has not been complied with till now, necessary steps shall be taken at the earliest, in any case not later than one month.
