**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 256 dated 23.11.2018, registered under Sections 420, 120-B IPC, Police Station Sadar Ludhiana, District Ludhiana. In compliance to the order dated 10.12.2019, Rakesh Aggarwal, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana is present in Court and filed reply by way of his affidavit which is taken on record. He has informed the Court that action has been taken against the Investigating Officer, who was not allowing the petitioner to join the investigation. Vide order dated 10.1.2019, the petitioner was granted interim bail and she was directed to join the investigation. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to the GURPREET SINGH 2019.12.18 17:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh order dated 10.1.2019 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the

CRM-M No. 561 of 2019 -2investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Inspector Jasdev Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined investigation. Learned counsel for the complainant has argued that at one stage the petitioner had agreed to return the money and thus, the matter was referred for Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court but since the petitioner had failed to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, the mediation could not be materialized. In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 10.1.2019 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
