Learned State counsel at the outset submits that meeting of departmental promotion committee was held on 12.06.2017. In the proceedings, certain persons have been promoted as Principal. However, petitioners were not found eligible. Thus, their claim has been rejected. He further submits that orders passed as well as the proceedings of the committee shall be supplied to counsel for the petitioners at the earliest, in any case not later than three weeks.

In view of above, no further direction in the contempt petition is necessary. Same is hereby disposed of. Petitioners shall be at liberty to seek revival thereof in case any cause of action survives, alternatively they may avail any efficacious remedy.
