It is contended that in view of order passed by writ court, petitioners have been regularized. However, difference of salary between Class-III and Class-IV posts has not been paid. Thus, order passed by writ court has not been complied with in letter and spirit. Learned State counsel submits that re-fixation has been done. Necessary payment shall be released to the petitioners at the earliest, in any case not later than two months.
In view of statement made by learned State counsel, petition is hereby disposed of. In case fresh cause of action arises to the petitioners to invoke contempt jurisdiction of this court, apart from initiating proceedings under the Act, it shall consider imposition of punitive costs which shall be deducted from salary of official(s) responsible for delay/non-compliance.
