Petitioner has prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider her application in the Ex-servicemanGeneral category for the post of Staff Nurse. It has been urged before the court that in case petitioner is considered against the said category in which 25 posts are lying vacant, no one would be affected. Admittedly, petitioner filled up the online application for the post of Staff Nurse under the general category and was considered against the same. The prayer to be considered against the Ex-serviceman-General category is mis-conceived. Petitioner cannot be allowed to change the category at this stage.
