The present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.56 dated 09.10.2023, under Section 379 of IPC and Section 452 of IPC (added later on), registered at Police Station Block Majri, District SAS Nagar.

Vide order dated 11.01.2024, this Court while granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail directed the petitioner to join investigation.

ASI Avtar Singh has appeared in person and submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no longer required.

In view of above, the petition is allowed. The order dated 11.01.2024 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, is made SANDEEP SETHI 2024.02.21 23:56 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this Order/Judgment
-22024:PHHC:022945 CRM-M-1291-2024 absolute. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency and shall abide by the conditions of Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.

However, this order shall not be construed as a final expression of opinion on the merits of the case as well as parity qua any other co-accused.

It is made clear that, in case, the petitioner is found involved in any such activity once again, the State is at liberty to promptly move an appropriate application for cancellation of bail detailing out the circumstances and violation of the condition(s) of bail.
