Mr. S.C. Pathela, Advocate for the respondent. Short reply by way of affidavit of Bhupinder Singh Sra Executive Officer, M.C. Rampura Phul, has been filed, in which it has been stated that the total retiral dues payable to the petitioner as per record were Rs.3,34,406/4 out of which a sum of Rs.2,62,000/4 was paid to her up to 02.05.2012 on various date. The balance outstanding amount of Rs.72,406/4 remained payable to the petitioner has since been paid to her on 28.10.2014 vide cheque No. 009090 dated 28.10.2014 towards full and final payment of retiral dues to her. It is stated that the balance amount of Rs. 72,406/4 could not be paid earlier on the account of the wreck financial position of the Municipal Council.
While not disputing the aforesaid fact, learned counsel for the petitioner states that no interest on the delayed payment has been paid to the petitioner.
The scope of the instant contempt petition is limited to the compliance of the directions issued by this Court which was to dispose of the notice of the petitioner. The order has been complied with. The retiral dues have been paid to the petitioner.
