This is a petition that has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.230 dated 07.12.2020 under Sections 295-A, 379 IPC and Sections 3, 4, 4-A of Punjab Prohibition of Cow Slaughter Act and Section 11-D of Prevention of Animal Cruelty Act registered at Police Station City-1, Sangrur. 2.

By an order dated 13.08.2021, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and directed him to join investigation. 3.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State on instructions from IO submits that petitioner has joined investigation. 4.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5.

In view of the fact that the petitioner has joined investigation, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 13.08.2021 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
