Instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.PC for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.186 dated 27.11.2022 under Sections 379-B, 341, 382, 323, 148 and 149 IPC registered at Police Station Nathana District Bathinda.

Vide order dated 19.01.2023, petitioner was granted the concession of anticipatory bail in the following terms:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that totally false allegations have been levelled against the petitioner in the FIR in question that he along with the coaccused snatched the scooty of the complainant and thereafter, he along with the co-accused physically assaulted the complainant when he went to the house of the accused to protest. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has been implicated due to local politics and the delay of 02 days in SONIA BURA 2023.04.11 16:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to order dated 19.01.2023, passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation. This fact is not disputed by the counsel for the State as well. Learned State counsel on instructions states that the petitioner is no longer required for further interrogation.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 19.01.2023, is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
