Notice of motion.

On the asking of court, Mr. Harsimran Singh Sethi, Addl. A.G. Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. Petitioner alleges violation of order dated 10.05.2017 passed by writ court, operative part thereof reads as under:- "In these circumstances, without issuing notice to opposite party, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to consider the said legal notice of the petitioner dated 1.2.2017 (Annexure P-4) and decide the same within two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order by passing a speaking order." Learned State counsel submits that in case no appeal is pending against the aforesaid order, it shall be complied with at the earliest, in any case not later than one month.

In view of above, this petition is disposed of. It is made clear that in case any fresh cause of action accrues to the petitioner to invoke the contempt jurisdiction of this court, it shall consider imposition of Ajay Kumar 2017.10.07 15:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
