***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioners allege violation of order passed by the writ court in CWP-7122-2011. However, a detailed affidavit on behalf of Suresh Kumar Arora, Director General of Police, Punjab, has been filed. Learned State counsel has referred to Para 5 of Annexure R-1 i.e. speaking order, annexed thereto, which reads as under:- "In view of Policy/Rules explained above, it has been found that both the petitioners were not even eligible for the post of Constable in the year 2004 when the last suitability test of remaining unsuitable SPOs was conducted. They had not passed Punjabi at that time. They passed Punjabi test on 9.1.2012 and they were allotted constabulary numbers in 3rd IRB, Ludhiana. The reasons of granting them constabulary number in Indian Reserve Battalion is that all SPOs who passed suitability test for absorption as Constable in the year 1997, 2000, 2002 and 2004, were allotted Constabulary number in PAP/IRB. In view of the above, claim of the petitioners for their absorption as constable from ante date is considered and rejected.
