IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH COCP 293/2018 Date of decision:30.01.2018 Manmohan Singh ..............Petitioner v.

Nazima ..............Respondents Coram:

Hon'ble Mr.Justice Jaswant Singh Present:- Mr. HS Dhandi,Advocate for the petitioner.

Jaswant Singh,J,(Oral).

The landlord has filed the present contempt with the allegations that the tenant has violated the terms of amicable settlement as noticed in the order dated 11.9.2017 and 17.11.2017 by not depositing electricity and water charges.

In the light of averments no contempt would be maintainable as the proper remedy for the landlord is to seek remedy of eviction for violation of terms and conditions,if any, before the appropriate forum. Dismissed as not maintainable.
