Petitioner filed CWP 22104/2016 alleging encroachment upon land belonging to Gram Panchayat by private respondent. The said writ petition was disposed of with a direction to official respondents to hold a fact finding enquiry and take remedial action in accordance with law within a period of two months.

Alleging disobedience of said order instant contempt was filed. Upon notice, today a short reply by way of affidavit dated 16.3.2018 of Gurpreet Singh Gill,DDPO,Amritsar has been filed stating therein that after enquiry necessary action has been taken and as on date the possession of the land in question stands delivered to the Gram Panchayat by revenue authorities.

In view of the contents of the reply,learned counsel for the petitioner contends that no further action is warranted in the instant Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2018.03.22 16:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
